Peter Kulchiski and I have convened the workgroup Dissident Bodies: Activism Beyond the State for The World Inside Out: Humor, Noise, and Performance Encuentro of the Hemispheric Institute of Performance and Politics, to be held in Mexico City June 9–15, 2019. This workgroup explores collective practices, spaces, temporalities, and movements that surface as alternatives to global homogenization and the neoliberal project in particular. Applications for the Encuentro and work groups are due October 29, 2018.
