Using humor, discovery, and the element of surprise, "Pueblitos: My Oasis" addresses urban marginalia, the poverty of imagination of city planners, and the neglect in this low income residential and factory area in East Oakland, while providing a momentary respite from the routine blight of this desolate wasteland.

This project is made with biodegradable unfired clay (raw earth) designed to disintegrate into the site.
