Los Cybrids created a multi-media installation titled: Tecno-Promesas: Putografia Virtual, an immersive tec-no experience exposing the passive acceptance of Information Technologies and the litany of optimism about the possible future of the planet. This was installed at Galeria de la Raza, San Francisco, June 22 to August 11, 2001.

In the center of the installation is a pile of computer garbage picked up at a local dump. This represents a one day load at that dump. On the right is a sound piece with old Macs found at a local dump.
