Praba Pilar explores technology and community through site works, performances, street theatre, writing and websites. News:

I am the Infospherian in the exhibition of Adriene Jenik's SPECFLIC project, which has just traveled from the Museum of Art of San Diego, San Diego, California, to the University of California, San Diego.

 

We Remember the Sun: 9/11/1973
On September 11, 2008 I performed a new piece with Larry Bogad to commemorate the September 11, 1973 violent overthrow of the elected government of Salvador Allende. Presented at the San Francisco Art Institute, this rooftop ritual explored the other meaning of September 11.

 

I am currently pursuing a PhD in Performance Studies at the University of California at Davis. My designated areas of emphasis are: Practice as Research and Feminist Theory and Research.
