I will be teaching in the 2019 Summer Institute of Performance Studies, Bring It In: Transnational Feminisms in Practice, of the Center for Global Culture and Communication and the Department of Performance Studies at Northwestern University. Convened by Marcela Fuentes, this 5-day intensive will focus on interdisciplinary scholarship and artistic and activist practices that engage the politics of embodiment, gender and sexual dissidence, intersectionality, world making, and coalition through performance, broadly construed.
20 participants will be accepted into the Summer Institute, to work with international artists, activists, and scholars from the Americas. Applications are due Friday, May 17, 2019.
